Flood and we

Today’s question is related to the terribleness of floods happening every year in the country, which is also born of evil like land encroachment. The encroachment of some countrymen on the surplus land of rivers passing through their cities, which causes the river water to enter the cities and towns, finding its boundary in the monsoon, this free water intrusion is a flood experience for us. Nature transcends its limits only when an obstacle is created in its path and we blame the government. The immediate effects of floods include loss of human life, loss of property, loss of crops, loss of livestock and deterioration in health status due to water-borne diseases. Also, after the passing of this terrible tragedy, many lives and houses have been seen to be dilapidated. The country is usually waiting for the monsoon every year, but this season has proved to be painful for the residents of the flood area. Why we have not been able to end this monsoon disaster even after independence? Is the expense of such an item every year reasonable for a developing nation? When the lands that have been declared as flood zones by the government of the country,  why do some countrymen reside and cultivate in that area? Every year there is water orgy, local residents have to flee. Why is the nation not creating rules like restoration or high building construction for the residents of flood affected area? Why is the focus of society not going towards a permanent solution? Why flood disaster management has not been created in our country like Singapore? These are burning questions which are only related to the residents of the flood area, but its burden falls on every countryman every year. Do these scenes seem proud to us in the development of our democratic social life? With these burning questions, today’s question (aaj ka prashn) seems necessary to motivate the inclusion of amendments in the developmental depiction of democratic background that,

Q 45:

Flood and we : Why our rivers are not disciplined in monsoon?

If you agree with the question, why and what should be the changes? If you disagree then why?

Think, and write your opinion in limited words for the change in the nation and your society or do express your views by pressing the button of  “agree and disagree”.

Intention:

Water is life. This statement is completely true. Just as the attainment of excess or Overdose of any thing is harmful, in the same way, excess of water, that is, flood also becomes an outbreak of nature, which carries with it valuable property, wealth and lives etc. All the holy rivers of the country are life-giving to man on one side, while on the other hand sometimes they become flood outbreak and a curse,
Why do some countrymen live and cultivate on the land of flood area?
Why don’t they move towards permanent residence at a higher place?
Why do they spend their life in temporary development journey?

If we do not adopt the freedom that we have received after being disciplined, then every year we will continue to see the loss of our lives and wealth. On the surface of our democratic society, the life-value of every countryman is the same, so it is the duty of every countryman to make the society flood-free from the raining disaster every year. When an area has been declared a flood zone by the government,
Why don’t the residents of the area migrate before time?
Why don’t they fulfill the duty of an aware citizen?
Why do they not connect permanently with the development of the country?
Why don’t they want to join the main development stream of the country?
Why the information and cooperation declared by the government could not reach them on time?
We have to think…. We have to write…. We have to change….!!!

We cannot blame the government for everything. Countrymen also have certain duties, which are associated with the development of the country. Every year many states of the country go through flood disaster, where governments spend crores of rupees. If people start denying their habitat on such land, then the loss of public wealth can be avoided. The society should also pay attention to the construction that some countrymen have built on the excess land of rivers passing through cities. By taking over the land of the river under the cover of corrupt system, we have blocked the drainage route by making permanent construction there,
Can this be called a fair and just view?
Can we countrymen call this the right foundation stone of our personal development?
Why are we countrymen not able to discipline our freedom?

Admittedly, the prevention of floods is the full responsibility of the government, but cooperation in this also seems necessary for the general public. We are confident that in the coming years, we will be able to completely control the damage caused by these disasters, like society has controlled smallpox, polio, TB and other diseases. For this, a long-term strategy has to be implemented. Alternative measures will have to be taken in areas where floods occur every year, otherwise the flood is such a natural disaster that if not stopped, there will be huge loss of life and money in the country every year, due to which it will take centuries for our country to become advanced. “Come together weave the India of your dreams” Only by this positive social thinking will be the actual establishment of a democratic society and we will be able to be dutiful. So today’s question : Flood and we : Why our rivers are not disciplined in monsoon? Is presented with all the respect to public table for discussion. Jay Hind…! Jay Bharat….!!!
